Our uphill → downhill playbook

Every package follows the identical cadence: Week 1 we climb the hill to explore options and pick a direction. Week 2 we run down the hill to build, review, and deliver. Here's what that looks like day to day.

⛰️

Week 1 · Uphill (explore + decide)

We run the Google-inspired workshop on Monday, diverge Tuesday through Thursday morning, then lock the winning direction by Decision Day so everyone knows what we're building.

Live touchpoints: Kickoff Monday + Decision Day Thursday.

Day 1 · Monday

🤝Client input required

Kickoff workshop

A 3-hour Brand/Product workshop to capture goals, guardrails, audiences, and success metrics so the sprint starts with shared context.

Day 2 · Tuesday

🔕Studio heads down

Research + divergence

Studio audits what exists, pulls references, and shares notes in your portal. No live touchpoints so we can stay heads down—just drop async comments if something needs a tweak.

Day 3 · Wednesday

💬Optional sync share

Work-in-progress share

We send Looms/Figma links showing explorations. You react in-line so we can keep exploring the strongest angles, with an optional live sync if you want to talk it through.

Day 4 · Thursday

🤝Client input required

Decision Day

Live review of 2–3 viable paths. We debate tradeoffs together and commit to one confident direction + success criteria.

Day 5 · Friday

💬Optional sync share

Execution plan

Studio documents the downhill build plan, lists deliverables, files, and dependencies, and (if you want) we hop on a quick sync to walk through the final direction we landed on.

🏁

Week 2 · Downhill (build + deliver)

With the direction locked, we spend the second week converging, building, and stress-testing so the sprint ships on Day 10.

Live touchpoints: WIP Wednesday + Delivery Friday.

Day 6 · Monday

🔕Studio heads down

Translate plan → build tasks

We align deliverables with the chosen direction, confirm any new inputs, then stay heads down translating the plan into execution tasks.

Day 7 · Tuesday

💬Optional sync share

Deep build day

Heads-down execution across design, copy, systems, or product. Expect async updates inside the sprint portal, plus an optional sync share if you want another peek.

Day 8 · Wednesday

🤝Client input required

Work-in-progress review

Live or Loom review so you can annotate, request tweaks, and make sure we're on track before polish days.

Day 9 · Thursday

🔕Studio heads down

Polish + stress test

We apply feedback, QA flows, prep exports/source files, and rehearse demos internally—no meetings so the studio can focus on polish.

Day 10 · Friday

💬Optional sync share

Delivery + handoff

Final deliverables, Loom walkthrough, optional live demo, and next-sprint recommendations all drop at once.

Only four live moments across two weeks

Kickoff Monday, Decision Day Thursday, Work-in-Progress Wednesday, and final delivery on Day 10. Everything else happens async inside your sprint portal so you can focus on running the business.

Week 1 Alignment Guarantee

We believe the most important part of any sprint is nailing the direction before execution. If at the end of Week 1 you feel we haven't aligned on a clear, confident solution direction — for any reason — you may choose to end the sprint.

🔹No additional payment required
🔹We retain the 50% deposit to cover Week 1 strategy, exploration, and direction work
🔹You keep all Week 1 insights and artifacts
🔹The sprint ends with no obligation to continue

This ensures you never feel "locked in" to a direction that isn't working — and it gives us strong incentives to nail Week 1 alignment.

Feel free to pick up where we left off by booking another sprint in the future with more insights or revised direction.
